Thank you to everyone who came out to the Colchester Town Green on October 4, 2009 to support the Colchester Lions' Club's 11th Annual Pumpkins 'n' Pooches Autumn Fair & Dog Fest! After a foggy start, the sun appeared and held steady throughout the afternoon. Special thanks to all of the Lions, family and friends who volunteered their time and energy to make this event a success.

Thank you to the following individuals, groups and businesses that loaned equipment and gave so generously of their time: DH Marvin & Son, Colchester Barber Shop, Colchester Chapter of the American Legion, Colchester Dept. of Parks & Recreation, First Selectman Linda Hodge, Officer Robert Suchecki, Robert McLaughlin, DVM, District Governor Keith Lemire, Fidelco Fosters, Top Hat & Tails Canine Freestyle, Canine Frisbee Champion Ed Jakubowski and Born to Run Agility Club.
